1. Scope & contact

These terms concern the use of klimafeld.at and support for the association through membership contributions and donations offered on the website. They apply to a specific agreement only if validly incorporated before it is concluded. Merely visiting the website creates no payment obligation and does not constitute acceptance of contractual changes.

Verein Klimafeld
Hütteldorfer Straße 33/1–2, 1150 Vienna, Austria
Association register number (ZVR): 1214253030
[email protected] · Legal notice

Individual agreements and mandatory law remain applicable. The association relationship is governed in particular by the statutes and valid resolutions made under them.

2. Membership & statutes

Membership supports the association’s work on fibre hemp, sustainable building materials and regional cooperation. Under section 9 of the statutes available to us, dated 17 October 2025, the board decides on admission. Payment alone does not replace that decision. Membership rights and duties are governed by the applicable statutes.

Basis, Aktiv and Hero distinguish the contribution amounts shown on the website; the labels do not themselves create different voting rights. The available statutes provide no voting rights at the general meeting for supporting members.

You can request the current statutes before applying. Payment frequency and membership duration are separate matters: monthly payment does not itself establish a one-month membership term.

3. Contributions & payment frequency

The membership page currently offers the following recurring contributions. Annual payment equals twelve monthly contributions.

Contribution amounts shown on the website
LevelMonthlyAnnually
Basis€3.90€46.80
Aktiv€9.90€118.80
Hero€15.90€190.80

The selected payment is collected repeatedly at the stated monthly or annual interval while the relevant payment obligation and arrangement remain in place. Check the amount, frequency and any further details before completing the transaction. If the website and checkout differ, please clarify this with us before paying.

Changes to contributions require a valid basis in the statutes, a valid resolution or an agreement. This page alone does not change existing payment obligations.

4. Application & payment through Stripe

Contribution and donation links lead to Stripe payment pages. There you can review your details and selected payment before submitting. Payments are processed using the payment methods offered there. Keep your payment confirmation; the payment date and the email address used help us resolve enquiries.

Stripe is a payment service provider. A technical payment confirmation does not independently determine admission to the association; the statutes govern that process. Newsletter registration is not required for membership or a donation.

5. Leaving & recurring payments

You can send your resignation or cancellation request to [email protected] or our postal address. Please include your name and information identifying your membership. Do not send complete card details.

This website imposes no additional minimum commitment, resignation notice period or automatic renewal of membership. Valid association rules, specific agreements and statutory rights remain applicable. We will confirm the termination date and the corresponding cessation of future collections. Obligations already validly incurred and statutory refund rights remain unaffected.

Blocking a payment method or stopping a payment instruction alone does not constitute resignation. Incorrect charges, duplicate payments and refund requests are assessed in light of the individual transaction and applicable law.

6. Donations & designated purposes

A donation is a voluntary contribution without agreed consideration. It does not itself establish membership. For recurring donations, the selected payment frequency applies; you can stop future collections by contacting [email protected].

Restricted donations and donations in kind are discussed individually in advance. Expressing a preferred use does not automatically establish an accepted restriction. We do not promise tax deductibility or any particular tax treatment. A payment confirmation does not prove eligibility for a charitable tax deduction. Statutory rights relating to mistakes, unauthorised charges or other grounds for repayment remain unaffected.

7. Project objectives & climate impact

Contributions and donations support the association’s work. The membership levels offered do not promise a personal cultivation area, a particular project outcome, guaranteed CO₂ savings or certified carbon offsetting. They are not an investment and create no right to financial returns or a share of proceeds.

Planned activities, schedules and development objectives are to be understood as plans. Specific project services or cooperation arrangements are agreed separately where needed.

8. Paid services & consumer rights

Separate paid goods or service offers must state their scope, total price, duration and terms before conclusion. Membership contributions and genuine donations are distinct. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Where an online contract falls under Austria’s Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG), a 14-day right of withdrawal generally applies. For services it begins on conclusion of the contract; for goods, generally on receipt. Statutory special rules and exceptions depend on the offer.

An unambiguous withdrawal statement may be sent to Verein Klimafeld, Hütteldorfer Straße 33/1–2, 1150 Vienna, Austria, or [email protected]; timely dispatch preserves the deadline. Use of a form is not mandatory. The specific withdrawal instructions, model form and any required online withdrawal function must be provided with the relevant offer. This general information does not replace them.

9. Content & submitted ideas

Text, images, graphics and other content may be protected by copyright. Uses permitted by law, including lawful quotation and private copying, remain possible. Any use beyond those permissions requires the consent of the relevant rights holders.

Contacting us or submitting an idea does not grant us blanket or irrevocable rights of use. Rights required for publication or further exploitation are agreed separately. Please send only content you are entitled to share.

10. Care & liability

We maintain the website with care. General information about hemp and building materials does not replace technical, building-law or other professional advice tailored to your project. External links lead to independent offers by other providers.

Statutory warranty and liability rules apply. These terms contain no blanket exclusion of our liability or statutory claims. Any responsibility for linked content is likewise determined by applicable law.

11. Privacy & newsletter

Information about personal data processing is provided in our Privacy Policy and about consent management in the Cookie Policy. These notices do not constitute blanket consent to advertising or tracking.

The free newsletter requires separate registration and consent. You can unsubscribe at any time through its unsubscribe link or by email. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not end membership; leaving the association does not automatically withdraw newsletter consent.

12. Law, disputes & changes

Austrian law applies. Consumers retain mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence where the statutory requirements are met. Statutory court jurisdiction applies; no exclusive jurisdiction to the detriment of consumers is agreed.

For disputes arising from the association relationship, the conciliation body provided for in the statutes must be taken into account. Access to courts remains available as provided by law.

Changes to this website version are identified by an updated date. Publication or continued use of the website alone does not amend existing agreements. Invalid provisions are dealt with under the applicable statutory rules.

13. Questions & documents
